TRANSITS AT A GLANCE
Nov. 2 Venus in Libra—Square Jupiter in Cancer—Oppose Chiron in Aries
This square creates tension between the desire for peace and harmony and the emotional bandwidth required to make it happen. With Chiron opposing Venus and squaring Jupiter, old wounds around self-worth might get pricked.
Venus at home in Libra wants balance, harmony, and fairness in how we connect with others. Meanwhile, Jupiter in Cancer wants to nurture and support emotional growth but sometimes clings too tightly to comfort zones. This square creates tension between the desire for peace and harmony and the emotional bandwidth required to make it happen. While this can affect romantic relationships, it doesn’t have to. You might experience this as struggling to maintain gentle parenting approaches while your child tests the limits of your patience. Or it might show up as recognizing your exhaustion while still neglecting the self-care and rest you need.
With Chiron in Aries opposing Venus while squaring Jupiter, old wounds around self-worth might get pricked. Self-limiting thoughts and guilt may surface, too.
Nov. 3 Mars in Scorpio—Trine Neptune (Rx) in Pisces
When Mars connects with Neptune, in this positive trine, it is a reminder to evaluate our motivations before taking action.
Neptune, in Pisces, especially when in retrograde, turns the delusions, dreams, and idealistic desires inward. When Mars connects with Neptune, in this positive trine, it is a reminder to check in with ourselves and evaluate our motivations. Intuition is important, and there is nothing wrong with following idealistic dreams for a better tomorrow, but you can’t base everything on gut instinct and hope. We must channel our energy in the right direction, for the right reasons.
Nov. 4 Mars Enters Sagittarius—Opposition Uranus in Gemini
This fiery combination of Sagittarius and Mars energy is powerful, impulsive, and a little reckless. Great energy for going after goals, but be aware, there’s a real potential to ruffle feathers and get into accidents when you move too fast.
Mars in Sagittarius can be prone to impulsiveness, is a little trigger-happy, and has a willingness to take big risks. Gotta love a Jupiter-ruled fire sign with that “say yes to life” mentality. And with an opposition to Uranus (Rx) in Gemini, it feels like something might be off with communication. I don’t want to call it gaslighting, but we’re not getting all the information here with retrograde Uranus. And that could amplify Mars’s impulsiveness. It doesn’t take much to spark the fiery combination of Sagittarius and Mars energy. You might suddenly feel empowered to take up a new revolutionary cause, or maybe you just feel the need to chase the next exciting prospect that comes your way. On the positive side, this could be a great opportunity to throw your energy into something you believe in. Just be aware of the potential to ruffle feathers and get into accidents whenever this energy sweeps you off.
Nov. 6 Venus Enters Scorpio (Detriment)—Square Pluto in Aquarius
A crash course in letting go of our polite masks and accepting both the light and shadow sides of our desires and values.
Venus is in its Detriment in Scorpio, a Mars-ruled sign that demands depth and authenticity. Here, Venus can’t hide behind the mask of politeness. Everything becomes intense, raw, and “all or nothing.” While in Scorpio, Venus is challenged to let go of the mask and accept both the light and shadow sides of desires and values.
And to put a very fine point on that, just as Venus enters Scorpio, she’ll make a square to Pluto in Aquarius. Think of this as a crash course in confronting our darker energy. Pluto challenges conformity and control, pushing us to face truths we might prefer to avoid. This is a trial of integrity versus authenticity. The friction may feel uncomfortable, but it exposes where attachments, desires, or values need to be transformed to align with our true selves.
Nov. 6 Mars in Sagittarius—Sextile Pluto in Aquarius
Assertive energy aligns with transformative potential. Just be careful of being too impulsive.
Mars in Sagittarius can be prone to impulsiveness, is a little trigger-happy, and has a willingness to take big risks. Pluto in Aquarius brings a need to challenge outdated structures and expose hidden influences. With this harmonious sextile, you may find the energy to initiate projects that are bold and inventive. Just be aware of the Venus/Pluto square happening at the same time. With that aspect in play, actions taken too impulsively or selfishly could provoke resistance and power struggles.
Nov. 7 Uranus (Rx) back to Taurus
A chance to look back on what’s changed (disruptions, lessons, and shifts that have reshaped our values and resources), reflect on the brief taste of Uranus in Gemini, and consider how to prepare for the next seven-year journey.
Uranus retraces its steps from Gemini back into Taurus, bringing us to familiar ground. When a planet retraces an area of the sky through retrograde motion, we feel that energetic pull to retrace our own steps. We may be reminded of things that have happened, ways we have acted, things we neglected to do, steps we should or should not have taken, and/or people that have come in and out of our lives. All the things that have led us to where we are currently.
This is the swansong of Uranus’s time in Taurus. Over the last 7 years, it has brought a revolution to that area of our chart, and understanding what has “led us down the path” is going to be crucial to accepting the changes that are to come.
It’s a reflective pause, not a call to rush into action. A chance to look back on what’s changed (disruptions, lessons, and shifts that have reshaped our values and resources), reflect on the brief taste of Uranus in Gemini, and consider how to prepare for the next seven-year journey.
When Uranus fully moves into Gemini in 2026, the focus will shift from material and personal stability to revolutionary ideas, innovative communication, and bold new ways of thinking. This retrograde is your moment to integrate the past before stepping into the future.
Uranus Retrograde Dates
September 6, 2025: Uranus begins its retrograde motion in Gemini.
November 7, 2025: Uranus enters Taurus for a final period of reflection. <--You are here
February 3, 2026: Uranus stations direct in Taurus, ending its retrograde period.
April 26, 2026: Uranus re-enters Gemini.
Nov. 9 Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius
Think of it like Mercury with inattentive ADHD. Lots of in your head rethinking, revising, and clarifying of goals. But all that internal focusing often leads to things on the outside getting ignored or forgotten.
It’s that time again. Mercury’s gone Gatorade, or, if you prefer, Mercury’s in the microwave. Both feel pretty accurate. I like to call Mercury in Sagittarius “Drunk Mercury.” In this sign, Mercury is in detriment and loses some of its usual clarity and focus. Mercury becomes easily excited, thoughts become exaggerated and all over the place, and communication gets a little blunt.
In retrograde, these qualities turn inward, prompting a more wobbly kind of introspection. It’s a period for rethinking, revising, and clarifying what you want and how you want to do things. But focusing so much on what’s going on in your own head means the outside world might get ignored. Think of it like Mercury with inattentive ADHD. Miscommunications, mistakes, and lost items are par for the course. All the usual Mercury retrograde warnings apply: double-check emails and texts, avoid signing legal documents if you can, and expect delays in travel or scheduling.
Nov. 11 Jupiter Retrograde in Cancer
This retrograde encourages honest evaluation and thoughtful action. Are you doing what you need to do, or are you just sitting in your comfort zone and complaining?
It’s time to reflect on emotional patterns, family support, and the ways you care for yourself and others. When Jupiter goes retrograde, it turns its expansive energy inward, giving you a chance to heal and grow through honest observation of your limitations and to make amends where needed. And yes, that last part matters. Jupiter rewards action, so you need to actually apply the lessons you learn.
Look for areas where you’ve been afraid to leave your comfort zone or old habits that may be holding you back. Notice where you’ve neglected your own needs, and check whether your goals are still aligned with who you want to be. Take advantage of this opportunity to review, reflect, and make meaningful changes.
Adding extra weight to this process, Jupiter in Cancer is trine Saturn (Rx) in Pisces all month long. Saturn keeps the pressure on us to look within, assess our progress, and take responsibility for the steps we’ve taken (or haven’t taken) toward our goals.
Nov 12-14 Mercury (Rx)—Conjunct Mars
The combination can feel like trying to drive with the parking brake on. Mars wants to floor it, but Mercury is stuck reading the map. This creates a lot of pent-up energy with nowhere to go.
Mars in Sagittarius is bold, impulsive, and ready to charge ahead without a second thought. It wants movement and action. But Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius is a bit like having inattentive ADHD (distracted, scattered, and easily sidetracked). The combination can feel like trying to drive with the parking brake on. Mars wants to floor it, but Mercury is stuck reading the map.
This creates a lot of pent-up energy with nowhere to go. Thoughts move fast but refuse to stay in one lane long enough for Mars to take action. You might jump from idea to idea, replay old arguments, or spiral into overthinking. With this frustrating pent-up energy, it’s easy to speak before thinking and come across blunt or impatient. Keep that in mind if you want to avoid arguments as you deal with others during this transit. Maybe channel the extra energy into some kind of physical movement.
Nov. 16-18 Sun in Scorpio—Trine Jupiter (Rx) in Cancer—Trine Saturn (Rx) in Pisces (Personal Water Trine)
With the sun (our ego) involved in a cooperative connection with Saturn (Rx) and Jupiter (Rx), we’re given a little reminder that healing is possible through honest introspection and making positive changes. This combination of planets (yes, the sun counts here) in three water signs (Scorpio, Pisces, Cancer) provides a moment of emotional stability that allows us to be receptive to the message.
Nov. 17-19 Mercury (Rx) in Scorpio—Sextile Pluto in Aquarius—Trine Neptune in Pisces—Oppose Uranus in Taurus
Deep reflection turns to investigation. Slow down, double-check your facts, and give yourself space to process before reacting.
As Mercury backs out of Sagittarius and slips into Scorpio, the slightly ADHD feeling turns a bit more hyper-focused. Mercury shifts into detective mode in Scorpio. This gives you the chance to think strategically, reflect deeply, and uncover things you may have missed the first time around.
Additional planetary energy flavoring this period of retrograde:
Sextile with Pluto (direct in Aquarius) brings strategic depth, transformative insight, and the ability to see hidden patterns.
Opposition to Uranus (Rx in Taurus) adds tension, or sudden “aha” moments about past decisions, values, or resources.
Trine with Neptune (Rx in Pisces) softens the edges with subtle insight and perspective.
Mercury retrograde warning for Scorpio: Communication can be a little sharp or intense. Slow down, double-check your facts, and give yourself space to process before reacting.
Nov. 20 New Moon Scorpio—Conjunct Mercury (Rx)
This lunation cuts through the noise and exposes what needs to be faced before you can move forward. Expect the kind of energy that pulls skeletons out of closets.
The New Moon marks a new chapter, but this one begins with a reckoning. The Sun, Moon, and Mercury retrograde all meet in a rare Cazimi (Mercury’s moment of clarity in the heart of the Sun). It’s the eye of the retrograde storm, when realizations break through and hidden truths come to light. But there’s the twist. As this happens, the entire alignment directly opposes Uranus retrograde in Taurus.
This lunation cuts through the noise and exposes what needs to be faced before you can move forward. Expect the unexpected.
Scorpio doesn’t reveal for drama’s sake; it does it for truth. And Uranus delivers shocks to what has become too comfortable. Together, they create the kind of energy that pulls skeletons out of closets. Expect sudden disclosures, private matters going public, or trust-shattering scandals. Because this all peaks around 11 PM PST on the 19th, it may become “breaking news” the morning of the 20th.
Take note instead of reacting while Mercury’s still retrograde. This is just the veil being lifted enough to show you what’s real. The full story isn’t complete.
Nov. 22 Sun enters Sagittarius
This is a time of optimism, adventure-seeking, but the journey isn’t out there; it’s within. Time to rethink our beliefs, shake off old illusions, and figure out what freedom really means.
Sagittarius season is a time of optimism and adventure-seeking. However, with Jupiter (Sag’s ruler) retrograde in Cancer, the adventure you’re seeking might not be out there in the world. It’s within. This is the kind of adventure that asks you to question old beliefs, change your perspective, and redefine your place in the world.
And this entrance of the sun into Sagittarius comes with a few aspects that reinforce the themes of perspective and transformation. The sextile to Pluto in Aquarius wants to transform how we interact within societal boundaries. The trine to Neptune (Rx) in Pisces asks us to really look at what we put faith in. And the opposition to Uranus (Rx) in Taurus shakes our foundations to test whether we’re on solid ground.
Nov. 22 Mercury (Rx) in Scorpio—Trine Saturn (Rx) in Pisces—Trine Jupiter (Rx) in Cancer
This Water Trine nudges us toward emotional growth. Mercury in Scorpio digs for truth, Saturn in Pisces calls for accountability, and Jupiter in Cancer offers compassion.
We’ve got to take a moment to recognize the Water Trines that have been flowing in since the end of October. These are emotional pulses that draw our attention to deeper issues. What we uncover might not be comfortable, but we’re being given a chance to see what truly needs to change. With Jupiter and Saturn (who I lovingly call the solar system’s parental duo) involved, these emotional undercurrents come with a sense of guidance and purpose.
This particular Water Trine carries extra weight because all three planets are retrograde. That’s a clear call to reflect on what’s been revealed in recent weeks. Mercury in Scorpio digs for truth, Saturn in Pisces asks for accountability, and Jupiter in Cancer offers compassion that allows us to heal and move forward.
Nov. 24-26 Mercury (Rx)—Conjunct Venus in Scorpio
Venus enters the Water Trine chat and brings a wave of emotional intensity that emphasizes the message Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn have been trying to give us.
Continuing the Water Trine with Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn, Venus now enters the chat. She’s bringing heart, vulnerability, and a wave of emotional intensity into the mix.
Remember, Venus is in detriment in Scorpio, and that means she struggles to express herself in her usual gentle way. Stripped of her charm and diplomacy, she speaks from the gut. When she joins this trine, everything feels deeper, maybe even heavier, than expected.
Mercury retrograde keeps us revisiting the past, digging for truth. Saturn in Pisces asks for accountability. Jupiter in Cancer offers compassion. And Venus in Scorpio? She feels it all. Sometimes too much. This alignment stirs up how we love, how we connect, and how we communicate (or don’t) when things get uncomfortable. If it all feels overwhelming, take a breath and sit with it. There’s wisdom here if you’re willing to feel your way through it. Let these emotions guide you toward the changes you know it’s time to make.
Nov. 27 Saturn Direct in Pisces
During its retrograde, Saturn’s been asking us to assess ourselves with honesty. Now, we’re expected to act on what we’ve learned.
After months of internal review, Saturn finally stations direct in Pisces, marking a shift from reflection to active responsibility. During its retrograde, Saturn’s been asking us to assess ourselves with honesty. No excuses, no avoidance. Now, as it moves forward, we’re expected to act on what we’ve learned, with the celestial boss watching closely to see if we’ve done the work.
This turn happens under the ongoing Water Trine with Venus in Scorpio and Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, providing emotional depth and compassion. Saturn going direct grounds it all in accountability. The energy is very supportive, but it’s definitely not passive. This is the time to act and take those positive steps.
Nov. 29 Mercury Direct in Scorpio
After weeks of mental fog and emotional excavation, you know what needs to be said, and you’re ready to speak the truth.
After weeks of mental fog and emotional excavation, Mercury finally stations direct in Scorpio. The reflection phase is over. Now comes clarity. Everything that surfaced since mid-November (truths, secrets, realizations) can be addressed. This direct motion happens as the Water Trine energy continues to ripple through the sky, providing emotional support that says, “It’s time to communicate with intention.”
Mercury in Scorpio doesn’t deal in surface talk; it wants to put words and actions to what’s been brewing beneath the surface. You know what needs to be said, and you’re ready to speak the truth.
Nov. 29 Venus in Scorpio—Opposite Uranus (Rx) in Taurus—Trine Neptune (Rx) in Pisces—Sextile Pluto in Aquarius
This combination of connections can feel like a shake-up of stability, a truth you didn’t expect, or a challenge to your sense of security.
Venus in Scorpio (detriment) feels raw, intense, and unfiltered. Opposing Uranus retrograde in Taurus (Venus’s own sign) she’s confronted with sudden shifts or revelations in the areas she normally rules: values, comfort, money, and relationships. This opposition can feel like a shake-up of stability, a truth you didn’t expect, or a challenge to your sense of security. Add in a sextile to Pluto, which challenges conformity and control, and pushes us to face truths we might prefer to avoid. And a trine to Neptune (Rx) in Pisces that provides subtle insight, perspective, and reminds us to trust our intuition. What we end up with, in this combination of connecting points, is Venus having to take a look at her own turf and maybe realize that clinging to the old ways isn’t the safest bet.
Nov. 30 Venus Enters Sagittarius
Venus enters Sagittarius, stepping into optimism and freedom, but with Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto still stirring the mix, this transit asks us to honor the lessons we learned in Scorpio.
Venus leaves the deep, intense waters of Scorpio and steps into the fiery, adventurous realm of Sagittarius, where she’s much happier. Her dignity is restored, and she can express warmth, optimism, and curiosity again. But she doesn’t do it alone. The opposition to Uranus (Rx) in Taurus keeps relationships, values, and stability on edge, asking us to embrace change rather than cling to old ways. The trine to Neptune (Rx) in Pisces continues to offer intuition, subtle insight, and emotional perspective, while the sextile to Pluto in Aquarius nudges us toward transformation and facing truths we’ve been avoiding.
With Jupiter (Rx) in Cancer governing Sagittarius, Venus’s expression isn’t about reckless adventure. It’s about learning from reflection, taking calculated emotional risks, and acting on insights. Venus in Sagittarius wants freedom and connection, but she also carries the lessons of the last month: how to love authentically, where to loosen control, and how to balance optimism with emotional honesty.
